Science advice

The Academy works to disseminate knowledge and information about scientific results in society, counteract ignorance and fact resistance, and contribute to knowledge-based development. The Academy focuses on important social issues and appraises them from a scienctific perspective. The work is conducted interdisciplinary and includes, among other things, the Academy's committees and international collaborations. As an independent organisation, the Academy is also a reputable consultation body.
