Grants are awarded to doctoral students and researchers who have completed their doctorate. Among the latter, priority is given to those who have completed their doctorate in the last five years. Grants are awarded for a maximum of 1 year.
The funds available for geosciences are intended for scientific natural geographic studies in Sweden, preferably in the Sarek mountain region, but not exclusively for this area.
Grants are not awarded for purposes that have already been finalised when the decision is made, which is approximately 3 months after the application deadline.
Please state the name of the head of department and support the application with attached documents such as supervisor certificates and/or letters of recommendation. All documents are attached in PDF format.
Available funding 2024: SEK 200,000.

Supplementary material submitted separately, incomplete applications and/or faxed or emailed applications will not be taken in consideration. Application documents will not be returned.
Allocation
All applicants will be notified by email if their application has been approved or rejected approximately three months after the application deadline. The information will also be available on the applicant’s web account.
