The Health Committee
The Health Committee is an Academy body that works with issues relating to preventive health and the emergence and treatment of disease, from a broad perspective.
Its task is to initiate, coordinate and prepare the Academy’s activities in the field of health, and it has an interdisciplinary, national and international perspective. The Committee works with issues concerning the links between health and the environment, support for Swedish medical research and how research contributes to developments in healthcare. It is also a referral body and organises seminars, debates and symposia in these fields.
