The Environment and Energy Committee

The Environment and Energy Committee is the Academy’s body for environmental, climate and energy issues. The Committee’s task is to initiate, coordinate and prepare the Academy’s activities regarding environmental, climate and energy matters, and it has an interdisciplinary, national and international perspective. The Committee also works as a referral body and organises seminars, debates and symposia in these fields.

The Energy Panel

During the years 2005–2019, energy issues were handled by the Academy’s Energy Panel. The Energy Panel developed and evaluated knowledge in current energy issues related to the environment and society, from a Swedish as well as a global perspective.
