This symposium will give an update on the latest research on health effects of high salt intake and possible benefits of reducing the intake. International experiences on efforts to reduce salt exposure on population level will be transmitted. How such experiences can be used and transferred to Swedish conditions will be discussed, as well as future research needs.

How such experiences can be used and transferred to Swedish conditions will be discussed, as well as future research needs.
The symposium is open to the public but registration is required for all participants. A fee of 200 SEK (to cover for lunch and coffee) is to be paid in cash upon arrival to the Academy the 24th of October. Please note that registration is binding.
